Chris Hasbrook is the Vice President and General Manager of the Building and Life Safety Technologies Division of UL LLC, a Division comprised of Building Materials, Building Enclosures, Structural Engineering, Fire Safety, and Life Safety & Security Industries. Chris obtained an MBA in International Business from DePaul University, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from the University of Notre Dame. Prior to joining UL, Chris held management positions with Accenture, Deloitte, and with PeopleSoft, where Chris led industry-specific Corporate Strategy and Product Planning activities. Chris is the co-inventor of a digital algorithm (UL intellectual property) that predicts fire loss in building structures, informing owners and insurers of risks. Chris is co-founder of the Chicago Fire Department Foundation, and holds the title of Honorary Battalion Chief of the Fire Department of New York. Chris is a member of the Economic Club of Chicago.
