Josh Mallamud is CEO of Cartegraph, where our mission is to build high-performance government. Known for his metrics-focused leadership style, Mallamud is a seasoned operator with a track record of improving performance and driving growth at a variety of technology businesses, globally.
Prior to joining Cartegraph, he served as chief operating officer of CityBase, a Chicago-based government technology company, and as senior vice president at DialogTech—playing a key role in the company’s transition into Martech and enterprise SaaS. Mallamud also co-founded Jigocity, a Shanghai-based social commerce business, successfully scaling the organization across Asia-Pac and to $20 million in revenue and nearly 200 employees just 15 months after launch. Prior to focusing on operating technology businesses, Josh was an attorney with Munger Tolles & Olson where his clients included Berkshire Hathaway and Universal and a management consultant where the Boards of Directors of BlackRock, Adobe and Sotheby’s, were among the clients he advised.
Originally from Philadelphia, Mallamud lives in Glencoe, Illinois with his wife and two sons. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Duke University, a master’s degree in business administration from the Kellogg Graduate School of Business, and a juris doctor degree in law from Northwestern University. Mallamud serves on the boards of directors of Sentic Technologies and Public Media Company.
