Scott is a visionary architect builder inspired by the seemingly endless ways to reimagine construction. Scott is a passionate champion of technologies and processes that maximize the master builder concepts to improve construction to the benefit of the entire team. In the Industry since 1997, Scott has taken upon himself to not only master the newest technology but to also mentor and teach anyone who wants to learn how to best utilize technology to deliver projects more efficiently. His enthusiasm, combined with a natural ability to explain very complex technical applications, is contagious.

At Kitchell, Scott has developed integrated services and systems for projects in the Southwest and California representing over $1.9 billion. Some of the most notable projects are Phoenix Children’s Hospital, Chandler Regional Medical Center, Jacobs Medical Center (San Diego) and Wild Horse Pass Hotel and Casino (Phoenix). Scott also heads up The Kapture Group, a subsidiary of Kitchell dedicated to pushing the envelope within the industry. The marriage of technology, design and construction ads up to a concerted focus on off-site multi-trade prefabrication and other innovate building techniques. Scott envisions a future in which major contractors will prefabricate most components of their projects, leading to aggressive construction schedules and advanced building methodologies, and opening the door to even more innovation, creativity and complexity.
Scott holds a BA in Architecture from the University of Arizona, MS in Construction Management from Arizona State University and is currently finishing his PhD in Construction from Arizona State University.
