The Connected Jobsite Expo
The best way to learn is by doing. At the BuiltWorlds Connected Jobsite Expo, we’re giving you the opportunity to explore firsthand what goes into creating a truly integrated, technologically-driven jobsite.
The BuiltWorlds Research team is curating 20 cutting-edge start-ups across 6 categories: – Drones & Mapping; Tools & Equipment/Machinery; People & Collaboration; Materials; Site Monitoring & Safety; and Scanners.
We’re identifying the most impactful tech solutions for the jobsite and giving you the opportunity to learn the important technicalities of each technology straight from their creators before test driving them. So get ready to roll your sleeves up, strap on that helmet, and grab the controller yourself. You’ll be inspired with new ideas to implement on your next jobsite and leave with a deeper understanding of how the many different technologies work together.
The Tech Ridge Presentation
Tech Ridge is an upcoming mixed-used, urban environment in St. George, UT, that will allow its inhabitants to live, work, and play all in one place. The project is being facilitated by tech start-up busybusy, a time clock and equipment tracking app that is angling to turn Tech Ridge into the first-ever paperless jobsite. Via our ecosystem, BuiltWorlds will be sourcing the technologies used through the project’s lifecycle.
During Projects LA, you’ll get an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at this innovative project direct from CEO of busbusy and other senior leaders. We’ll be exploring the process of achieving a paperless jobsite as well as the benefits and challenges of testing new technologies on projects.
This event is great for:
GC’s and Construction Professionals
As the professional in charge of executing large-scale building projects, you have the opportunity to save major time and money with more efficient and effective project management. Our slate of speakers and technology experts will show you everything you need to know.
Real Estate Owners and Developers
You’re in charge of the maintenance and operations of buildings (which project management plays a crucial role in) and sometimes the decision maker investing in new technology, so understanding the full landscape of industry trends, evolving standards, and end-user needs is crucial.
Technology Professionals. VDCs. Innovation Heads
As a leader in the creation of technology products that impact our building processes, you must find creative ways to integrate your solution into “our world” and that starts with understanding our perspective and making the connections that allow for the right feedback and growth of your product’s awareness.

It's great that our tools and software are capable of interacting with each other, but without a strong network, these connections can't happen. After all, not every jobsite has high-speed internet and WiFi. We’ll hear from DeWalt (manufacturers of an entire suite of connected tools) about they’re working to solve the connectivity challenge.
Construction Tech Panel

You’ve heard from the industry players, now let’s chat with the technology start-ups who are building the technologies that fuel the connected jobsite. We’ll discuss the cutting-edge technologies they’re developing, how construction companies can make the implementation process easier and why it’s important to experiment with new technologies.
