Service Sales Account Manager – Chicagoland Area

As our Service Sales Account Manager, you will, among other tasks:

  • Close annual sales plan at predetermined levels
  • Identify, contact and schedule interviews/appointments with prospective clients
  • Conduct phone calls to set appointments
  • Perform sales interviews with prospective clients and identify customer needs
  • Identify decision makers and customer buying criteria
  • Compile and prepare comparative listings of mechanical equipment, trends and practices
  • Estimate maintenance costs, labor, materials and margin
  • “Walk” buildings, roofs and other areas to obtain an understanding of the client’s facility
  • Take pictures to include in bid process and presentation materials
  • Prepare, develop and write detailed proposals
  • Present proposal options to clients
  • Follow-up, track and close sales
  • Develop effective and long-term relationships with clients
  • Prepare, update and present a variety of oral and/or written reports, presentations and related items
  • Update and maintain a variety of narrative, statistical, financial and related documents, files, records and logs
  • Climb fixed stairs and extension ladders
    To be considered, you will have:

    A high school diploma or equivalent AND at least three (3) years of recent, relevant experience in HVAC Service Sales or closely related responsibilities OR any equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable work experience would have been obtained.

    Ideal candidate will have HVAC Industry experience, be a natural multi-tasker and thrive on high activity levels. Energy–related experience is a plus.

    You must have, and maintain, a valid driver’s license and a clean Motor Vehicle Record.
