Around The Network: EY Gazes Out Onto the New Frontier and Sees Plenty of AI

Since our inception, BuiltWorlds has always had at least one eye trained on the rapidly developing realm of Artificial Intelligence. Just last month, we hosted an analyst call examining BuiltWorlds’ member Thornton Tomasetti’s self-learning software that detects and classifies visible damage to various types of structures and materials. And last week, we provided members with another analyst call touching upon the ways artificial intelligence is radically changing how we approach project planning and pre-construction.

Others have been paying attention as well. EY recently shared with us their view on how AI is rapidly accelerating operational efficiency:

AI: Construction’s New Frontier of Digital Enablement
