1. CEMEX Ventures invests in Structionsite

CEMEX Ventures, the Corporate Venture Capital arm of CEMEX, invested in StructionSite, a digital jobsite documentation platform.CEMEX will help Structionsite explore international markets.

2. FINALCAD raises $40 million in series C

FINALCAD, a field project management application, closed a $40 million series C round. FINALCAD will use the money to expand its SaaS.

3. Procore closes $75 million funding round

Procore, a popular suite of project management tools, closed a $75 million funding round, led by Tiger Global Management/

4. Detroit adopts Roadbotics

RoadBotics, a platform for monitoring the condition of roads, will assess Detroit’s road network. Oladayo Akinyemi, Deputy Director at Department of Public Works at the City of Detroit, related “this partnership and pilot will provide us with data and insights about our road conditions that will help our engineers determine where to objectively allocate our resources and maximize investment in maintaining our residential streets in the best condition.”

5. Weatherbuild shortlisted to be a top 10 construction technology solution

WeatherBuild is an application that gives construction teams actionable data regarding the weather. CIO shortlisted WeatherBuild for its list of top construction solutions.
