1. Mortenson named one of Arizona’s best companies
The Phoenix office of Mortenson, a national general contractor, has received an award recognizing the company for its leadership excellence, workplace culture, corporate and social responsibility, customer opinion, and innovation. 2. Igor featured as a leader in networking technology
The CEO of Igor, a Power over Ethernet (PoE) smart lighting system, informed readers of Network World that the age of autonomous buildings is imminent. He asked readers to “imagine a building that enhances each human experience. A building that automatically adapts its behavior to the preferences of each occupant and stakeholder, and astutely balances all these competing preferences. ”
3. Ving urges the built industry to create a safety culture through microburst training
Ving is a video platform for providing and monitoring employee safety training. According to Tony DeAscentis, the CEO of Ving, creating a safety culture, “is all about microburst training. 4. IrisVR helps a British public utility company improve efficiency
IrisVR’s Prospect is a software that converts 3D models of construction projects into virtual reality spaces that users can walk through. 5. Sage creates an artificial intelligence handbook for business leaders
Sage, a leading provider of business technology solutions, released a handbook on artificial intelligence.
