World's First Solar Panel Roadway

French engineering firm Colas Group showcased their Wattway technology on the world’s first ever solar roadway in France. By combining road construction and photovoltaic techniques, Wattway pavement provides clean, renewable energy in the form of electricity, while allowing for all types of traffic.
