A core focus of AI adoption is on optimizing data-intensive processes for greater efficiency in areas like project management and preconstruction, including scheduling, cost estimation, and risk assessment. AI is also being integrated into some field management technologies, equipment- and robotics-related software, and building technology, where it supports various functions such as safety monitoring, autonomous operations, and smart building management.
