GS E&C Highlight: From PoC to Partnership - Designing an Open Innovation Ecosystem for Smart Construction

Sponsor Spotlight Session

Innovation in construction is often fragmented and slow – limited to one-off PoCs with little follow-through. GS E&C, a leading Korean GC, is tackling this challenge through a global open innovation model. This ecosystem approach aims to turn isolated trials into scalable deployment pipelines.

The session explores why open innovation is essential – not optional – for the future of construction, and why diverse stakeholders like developers, startups, VCs, and governments must co-create solutions. Real-world cases, including cross-border pilots and startup engagements, will be shared.
