Designing the Next Construction Robot: A Collaborative Workshop

What would it take to successfully deploy a new robot on a construction site? In this interactive workshop, participants will work together to define a fictional construction robot designed to solve a real world industry challenge. Through a series of guided activities, the group will explore operational needs, site requirements, safety considerations, autonomy, user experience, workforce adoption, and supporting infrastructure. Whether you build robots, use them, manage projects, or simply have an interest in construction technology, you'll contribute ideas, challenge assumptions, and gain insight into the many factors that influence the successful development and deployment of construction robotics.
