The Building Products & Materials Analyst Call on Wednesday, January 18th was hosted by BuiltWorlds’ Sean Wrenn and featured Sebastian Sajoux, CEO of Arqlite, Zack Zimmerman, CRO of BamCore, and Aaron Baskerville-Bridges, Co-Founder & VP Operations at AeroShield.
Wrenn started the call by providing the audience with a quick recap of the topics that BuiltWorlds tracks within the Building Tech segment. For this call, Wrenn focused specifically on the sustainability and decarbonization aspects of the building products & materials topic. He introduced the guest speakers, who discussed how their startups provide sustainable solutions in this area.
Sajoux highlighted how Arqlite provides upcycling technologies such as smart gravel – an alternative solution that is lighter, more insulating, more cost effective, and has a smaller carbon footprint than traditional gravel. Arqlite has their own proprietary recycling process that can work with complex and recyclable plastics.
