Mycocycle Founder & CEO Joanne Rodriguez pitched her company at the 2025 Innovating Building Materials & Supply Chain Conference. The innovative company utilizes fungi to break down and eliminate toxins from construction waste such as shingles and carpet. The subsequent material is transformed by the mycelium and processed into a low carbon, bio-based additive that can replace plastic polymers and petrochemicals in materials used in the built environment.
