In 2015, construction finished on the 90k sq. ft Gordon Parks Arts Hall educational center. After receiving generous donations from filmmaker and philanthropist George Lucas, Mellody Hobsen, and the Earl Shapiro family totaling over $82 million, classes began at the facility which blends multiple scholastic disciplines into its teaching curriculum. Aiming to produce only the brightest future engineers, architects, and artists, this projects was realized by General Contractor Lendlease and Main Architect Valerio Dewalt Train Associates.
