Project management & collaboration is the top AI use case, rising from 70% to 89% of respondents, and use is consolidating around everyday coordination rather than specialized applications.
AI use is concentrated in the office. Preconstruction, project management, and back-office functions lead, while field management and equipment and robotics trail, suggesting AI is spreading faster through office-based work than through field work.
Implementation is maturing. Nearly half of respondents rate their implementation efforts Very Good or Excellent, up from about one in five last year, and most are building their own AI tools alongside the ones they buy.
