Safety is usually automation's headline pitch, but early adopters seem to be chasing efficiency first.
No dominant vendor has emerged, pointing to a market with more room for development. In-house solutions were named more often than any single third-party vendor, and OEM-provided equipment outpaces retrofits. Organizations seem more comfortable building or buying native capability than standardizing around a third-party autonomy vendor.
