Asset utilization tracking and GPS tracking tied as the top use cases at 56%, followed closely by data analysis on machinery usage at 52%, signaling that organizations are primarily turning to fleet management tech to gain visibility into where their equipment is and how it's being used.
Among active users, real-time visibility is the highest-rated capability at 8.2 out of 10, while downtime reduction scores the lowest at 5.5. This suggests that while these solutions deliver strong tracking and monitoring capabilities, translating that data into measurable operational improvements remains a gap.
