No respondents have listed robotics as a standard part of operations yet. A third of respondents haven't gotten past exploring or researching (23% combined), but a meaningful amount has moved past pilots into regular use: 19% use robotics selectively and 16% deploy it regularly across projects.
Layout (45%) and as-built scanning or documentation (35%) are by far the top use cases. Every other category sits at 6% or below. Robotics is showing up in mapping and measurement work first, not in physical trade tasks.
Increasing accuracy (39%) and lessening manual effort (32%) are the top reasons companies gave for using robotics. Decreasing project cost (16%) and meeting deadlines (13%) trail well behind.
