2023 Top Investor Awards Recap: See the Winners and Nominees

Earlier this month, BuiltWorlds hosted the 2023 Venture East Conference in sunny Miami beach where the first annual Top Investors Awards Ceremony took place. BuiltWorlds develops three tops lists towards the close of the year focused on investments in the space - the Top Investors 50, The Global Innovators, and the Top Deals 50 (coming in January 2024 - investors submit your deals here). These lists are based off transaction volume or monetary value of individual investments across the space.

While numbers are typically king in the venture space, there are other factors that can make a substantial impact across the ecosystem. From creating accelerator programs lifting startups, to launching new funds, investment groups across the globe are creating value in the industry outside of just dollars invested into startups.

We developed 6 categories around this thought and decided to showcase these companies creating an impact at our most recent conference and listed below are bother the winners as well as the honorable mentions in each.
