Around The Network: Stanley X Is Hosting a Virtual Robotics Roundtable!

Beyond BuiltWorlds own activities, we know our members are engaged in many efforts to improve the industry. They organize Demo Days, Pilot Projects, Collaborative and Problem Solving Industry Initiatives, Hackathons, Research Projects, and even other Events. We want to help our members present those opportunities to other members in an organized way, and so, for that, we have created the Innovation Exchange.

The latest posting on the Innovation Exchange comes from Stanley Black & Decker. On Thursday, March 18th, from 2:30pm until 3:30pm PST, Stanley X’s Construction Technology Advisory Board (CTAB) is hosting a virtual Robotics Roundtable Discussion with guest speakers from FBR (Fastbrick Robotics), Embark Ventures, and DroneBase. This event will examine three separate issues: Landscape & new investments in construction robotics, Why robots aren’t more prevalant on construction sites and how drones and robotic technologies impacting construction job sites. This event is open to all BuiltWorlds members who would like to join.

If there’s one thing we at BuiltWorlds have learned over the years, it’s that our members are always interested in the latest news in Robotics and Advanced Equipment! On April 28th, from 10:00am until 11:00am CST, we will be presenting our April Robotics Call.  Then, in July, we are thrilled to be hosting our first live event since February 2020–The 2021 BuiltWorlds Construction Tech Conference. We will definitely be touching upon the latest innovations in the Robotics space during this three day conference, which runs July 8-10 in Chicago, IL.

Do you have an industry-improving initiative you’d like to promote to the BuiltWorlds community? Follow this Innovation Exchange Request link to submit your opportunity.  The submission will be reviewed, and, if deemed consistent with the spirit of the exchange, it will be posted to the board.
