1. SiteAware software integrates with Autodesk’s BIM 360
SiteAware, a cloud-based software solution that analyses construction site data collected by drones, announced a new partnership with Autodesk. SiteAware data is now accessible on Autodesk BIM 360 Docs and can be incorporated into existing workflows.

2. FMI anticipates continued growth for the construction industry in late 2017 and 2018
FMI, the leading management consultant in the construction industry, released its construction forecast on November 2. The forecast predicts an increase of 4% for construction in the last quarter of 2017 and an increase of 5% in 2018.

3. Cushman & Wakefield partners with Lucid
The global real estate services firm has begun to utilize Lucid’s BuildingOS software to manage energy data. According to Steven Quick, CEO, Global Occupier Services, Cushman & Wakefield, the “collaboration combines Lucid’s outstanding technology with Cushman & Wakefield’s vast real estate and facilities expertise to improve building efficiency… With this new platform, we have strengthened our ability to help clients achieve reduced operational costs and enhanced sustainability, in addition to driving occupant satisfaction and productivity.”

4. CannonDesign expands into Colorado
Denver-based Bennett Wagner Grody Architects has recently merged with CannonDesign, which will establish Cannon’s first brick-and-mortar office in the region. Bennett Wagner Grody will conduct business as Bennett Wagner Grody Architects | CannonDesign until a future transition to the CannonDesign name.

5. ENGworks to provide BIM services to the Middle East
ENGworks has partnered with AEC Resource to establish the joint venture entity AEC+ENG Middle East, which will provide BIM services to the Middle East market. AEC+ENG Middle East allows ENGworks to leverage AEC Resource’s laser scanning expertise and to take on larger projects in the Middle East region.
