What We’ve Learned: Modular building is not a new concept. Sears Roebuck kit house in 1926. Dan, the top‐down concept was not only conceived in early 1970s but it was also successfully executed. Modular building was complex then and it’s just as complex now—probably more so. What have we learned from past attempts? What’s different about where we are today? Seen good traction in healthcare and hospitality especially. And you all are focused on residential. Why now? What are the key enablers?
