Over the last decade, WND has invested in 15 startups, incubated four entities and invested in two venture funds as a Limited Partner (LP). The leaders within the organization categorize these efforts as a “good start.” WND has taken the lessons learned from its innovation, R&D and venture capital experiences and created a renewed approach using a new model that has not existed in construction to date. WND hopes the result is good for startups, good for contractors and good for the customers the industry serves. This fireside chat, led by DPR Construction’s CEO George Pfeffer and CTO Atul Khanzode, explored this wider approach and what it means for the BuiltWorlds community.
