Venture East 2022: What it Takes to be a Built World Unicorn

In the last panel of our 2022 Venture East Conference that took place November 15-16 in Miami, FL, we discussed what it takes for companies to become Built Worlds unicorn (or companies with a $1b + valuation). BuiltWorlds Director of Venture Investments, Dan Laboe, led a conversation featuring Travis Connors, Co-Founder & General Partner, Building Ventures, Momei Qu, Managing Director, PSP Growth, KP Reddy, Managing Partner, Shadow Ventures, and Diana Swenton, VS, Suffolk Technologies as they discussed what they think it takes to become a unicorn company given this past year’s trends.

Each of the panelists featured here have invested in unicorn companies throughout the build environment and each took time to talk about and discuss with our audience what signs and traits they look for in companies as they are doing their evaluations.
