2026 Infrastructure Top 50

Welcome to the 2026 Infrastructure Top 50! The Infrastructure 50 List was derived from a combination of the 2026 BuiltWorlds' Benchmarking Survey data, direct industry research, member conversations & feedback, and case studies.

As projects grow more complex and public agencies face mounting pressure to deliver faster and at lower cost, technology has become central to how infrastructure is designed, built, and maintained. The 2026 Infrastructure Tech Top 50 maps the solutions driving this shift. Spanning seven categories from civil design and digital twins to construction delivery, materials monitoring, and long-term asset operations, the Infrastructure Top 50 is designed to give a comprehensive overview of the leading technology in the space.

Event Spotlight:

2027 Chicago Global Summit

Capital and emerging technology are increasingly shaping how contractors, owners, and designers adopt and scale new tools, from small specialty trades to large national enterprises. The 2027 Chicago Global Summit, held April 28 to 29 at Convene in downtown Chicago, examines that shift through the lens of the North American market.

Attendees will leave with practical insight on technology, innovation, and AI and data strategy for mid-size, specialty, and large contractors, along with a view of the investment landscape from accelerators to late-stage startups, including a Demo Day Pitch Competition. Sessions span all eight BuiltWorlds research tracks, and the event connects executives, founders, and decision-makers across the global AEC value chain.
