Demo Drop: Kedaya

From last month’s Venture Forum Demo Day Competition we bring to you the Demo Drop for Kedaya – a company trying to lower the carbon footprint from producing bottles of water by utilizing a state-of-the-art vending machine that will allow it’s user to wash and reuse bottles. This startup could be seen in vast industries but finds itself focusing on construction partly due to the fatigue caused by many job functions on site. According to Kedaya, workers in the construction industry report work-related headaches at a higher rate than most other jobs and this can be helped with on-the-job-site access to free water. In the push for net zero job sites and an overall lowering of the carbon footprint left by the construction industry, it makes sense that there would be a solution that could cut waste and garbage down that’s typically caused by single-use plastic water bottles.

The BuiltWorlds Venture Forum meets each month by online and in-person to network and share insights. These monthly meetings are also accompanied by a Demo Day Competition where startups from various areas in the industry will present their new solutions to members.
