Last week, we counted down some of the most exciting European investment funds in preparation to our Summit in Paris. The thing that makes these investors so great is that they are actually pouring money and resources into technology companies offering solutions that will push the built industry forward.
As a companion to our list from last week, we counted down eight of the most innovative, disruptive European technology solutions across eight vital industry themes:
Project Collaboration & Analytics Software: Capmo | Germany
This SaaS platform based in Munich recently raised €1.8 million in seed funding from ESA BIC Bavaria. It provides users with interactive blueprints to attach photos, make notes, and overall digitize the vital communication and flow of data between the field of the office. Capmo also allows users to keep track of stakeholders and keep digital diaries so that everyone is up-to-date on a project.
Modeling & Visualization Software: Bloc in Bloc | United Kingdom
Combining augmented reality and BIM, Bloc in Bloc literally brings projects to life. After preparing a project model, users can view digital mock-ups of their project on a smart device or in mixed reality using HoloLens glasses. Users can also juggle reports tools focused on progress, annotations, and reservation controls before generating project reports in PDF format.
