BuiltWorlds is thrilled to announce our partnership with member company Brick and Mortar Ventures to launch FormWork Labs, an early-stage accelerator program focused on emerging technology purpose-built for the construction industry.
Formwork Labs was founded to foster a more dynamic environment for innovation and growth among entrepreneurs and startups developing software and hardware solutions in the construction industry, including architecture, engineering, construction, and facilities management.

Formwork Labs will select five companies to participate as a cohort in its immersive, 10-week startup accelerator program. During the program, industry experts and past founders in the AEC space will provide participants with strategic guidance on product and go-to-market strategy while preparing the company for success and future financing from top-tier venture capital firms. Each startup company will also receive $75,000 in funding on a post-money SAFE.
“The accelerator program provides an opportunity for founders who are creating emerging technologies to help get their businesses off the ground, on the right foot, and secure critical investments to bring their solutions to market, ”said Matthew Gray, Executive Chairman of BuiltWorlds.
Now open for submissions, the application deadline for consideration in the 2022 Formwork Labs accelerator program is May 30th. The five companies selected to participate in the inaugural program will be announced at BuiltWorld’s EAME Summit in Paris in June 2022.
