A state-of-the-art training and learning center that incorporates cutting edge technologies such as greywater harvesting, solar-vacuum-tube water heaters and water recirculation. This facility is crucial to our future buildings and city infrastructure. Pride in its people, its place, and its processes is at the core of the union’s culture.

- Structured as a design-build project - features innovative, exposed plumbing methods
- Rainwater harvesting, water recirculation and grey water systems.
Greywater harvesting - filter and put it back into the system (non-drinking) - Solar-vacuum-tube water heaters - heats domestic hot water
- The roof deck, where plumbers can both learn from rooftop water technology and host special events amidst the green roof, features stunning views of the Chicago skyline.
