Our first product, Backyard, is a compact, flexible living space that fits your yard and helps you get the most out of your home, giving homeowners more room for whatever they need—be it an in-law suite, home office, or rental unit. Founded in 2016 as a research and innovation team within Airbnb, Samara is now an independent company backed by leading venture and corporate investors.
