In an industry where there is an ever-increasing demand for data and risk management, the utilization for the smallest data point can provide valuable insight for years to come. The prequalification, bidding and performance of subcontractors has historically been placed on the shoulders of individual project teams or project managers at general contractor firms. The availability of data and integrated platforms has not enabled contractors to quantify the risk levels and performance of subcontractors working with not only their firm but their competitors as well. This evolution of centralized data has created the possibility for true transparency in subcontractor risk management and prequalification. This call will highlight the current impacts and future outlooks of this technology resource.
