1. Kaarta forms advisory board

Kaarta is a startup that provides hardware and cloud solutions for creating 3D maps of spaces in real-time. Kaarta announced the charter members of its advisory board: Bob Dobkin, co-founder and CTO of Linear Technology Corporation, and Rob Chandhok, the Group Chief Technology Officer for Daily Mail and General Trust plc.

2. IrisVR’s Prospect supports Multiuser Meetings

IrisVR’s Prospect is a software that converts 3D models of construction projects into virtual reality spaces that users can walk through. Users can now they walk through a VR space together and discuss it in real time. Individuals can participate in a single meeting from anywhere in the world.

3. iGlass featured in The Architects Newspaper

The Architects Newspaper reviewed a sampling of IoT-enabled smart home products from the Consumer Electronic Show, including iGlass’ Wisp digital blinds. Wisp is a transparent sheet that can be installed on any window and quickly tints it at the push of a button.

4. Hangar unpacks Robotics-as-a-System™

The Hangar Robotics-as-a-System™ (RaaS) Platform directs autonomous robots to collect data on site. In a recent blog post, Hangar explained RaaS as “extending a cloud-like technology into the physical world.” Hangar provides customizable modular drone solutions that connect vendors, operators, and customers on a single platform.

Navistar, a leading manufacturer of construction trucks, named Terry Minor in Nashville as their North American dealer of the year.
