1. Grit beta project goes live

Grit, a construction planning engine that utilizes VR technology, just began beta testing. In a vlog, Grit’s CEO Chris Callen credits the company’s ability to accomplish so much in so little time to his team members’ hard work and talent.

2. Triax Technologies received “Health and Safety Solution of the Year” award

The New York City Construction Awards (NYCCA) named Triax’s Spot-r the “Health and Safety Solution of the Year.” Spot-r is a wearable IoT device that tracks construction workers location and safety. The Spot-r EvacTag alerts workers to danger on the jobsite.

3. SYNDEO is a finalist for IDC’s Smart Cities North America Awards

4. Hangar to utilize Vapor IO’s Kinetic Edge

The Hangar Robotics-as-a-System™ (RaaS) Platform directs autonomous robots to collect data on-site. Vapor IO’s Kinetic Edge creates city wide, software controlled data centers by connecting micro data centers through wireless networks. Hangar will harness Kinetic Edge data to help direct its autonomous drones.

5. Contract Simply releases Construction Loan Administration 2018 survey results

Contract Simply, a construction loan management software, surveyed over one hundred US-based commercial lending executives and real estate developers about their experiences with construction loan administration and the draw process. 100 percent of the respondents believe that aspects of the draw process should be automated.
