1. Triax and Oracle announce a partnership

Triax’s Spot-r is a wearable IoT device that tracks construction workers location and safety. Oracle Prime Projects Cloud Service, a leading project management system, will integrate data from the Spot-r.

2. SYNDEO wins IDC Smart Cities North America Award

SYNDEO’s Smart Panel Mini-Vaults are inserted into sidewalk curbs and provide a protected space to install smart city technology. SYNDEO won the Urban Planning and Land Use award for the installation of its Smart Panel Mini-Vaults in Austin, Texas.

3. Fieldwire to participate in INTERMAT

Fieldwire, a mobile collaboration platform for construction field workers, has been invited to join the general contractor Vinci’s “Start-up Village” at INTERMAT in Paris from April 23-28. INTERMAT brings 183,000 individuals together to explore cutting-edge civil engineering and structural building solutions.

4. Kaarta launches KAARTA Reality Layer

Kaarta provides hardware and cloud solutions for creating 3D maps of spaces in real-time. The Kaarta Reality Layer adds color information to its 3D maps for a photorealistic scan.

5. Pype releases SpecView feature

Pype, a software that helps users start projects faster, now allows users to see multiple specs in a simple table of contents and to place the original spec next to the submittal log for quick comparison.

6. Viewpoint acquires Keystyle Data Solutions

Viewpoint, an ERP project management and mobile solution provider for the construction industry, acquired Keystyle Data Solutions. Keystyle Data Solutions develops addon portals to improve the user experience of Viewpoint.
