Aqsarniit Hotel – Five story 94-suite modular hotel and convention centre.

Bird Construction was the GC and built the first floor podium and erected the modules once at site. Modules were manufactured by Stack Modular and shipped from Shanghai via the Panama Canal, up the the east coast to Iqaluit, Canada

The project won Modular Hotel of the Year over 10k sf – Modular Building Institute 2019

The project was built in far northern Canada, making logistics and added challenge overcome by shipping completed building modules by sea.
