Building off of the findings of the 2023 Annual Building Tech Report, BuiltWorlds’ Annual Sustainability Report is designed to highlight the ever-changing landscape of the AECO (Architecture, Engineering, Construction, and Operations) industry and the importance of building a green, sustainable world. Leveraging data from the 2023 Building Tech Survey, this report will empirically explore topics such as the evolving role of contractor sustainability teams, including reporting requirements, key functions, and, ultimately, how “sustainability” and “ESG” are influencing what and how we build.
