BuiltWorlds member Stanley Black & Decker, the world’s largest tool company operating nearly 50 facilities across America and more than 100 worldwide, acquires MSUITE, a management suite for the Construction Industry that tracks, manages, and shares KPIs like productivity, status, and the health of projects throughout the construction life-cycle. The acquisition reflects the growing strategic importance of MSUITE’s software solutions in the construction technology space. Together, Stanley Black & Decker and MSUITE’s growing team and customer base of 200+ companies across North America will now have expanded capabilities, broadened talent depth and technology to reinvent the industry.
“Our clients will receive the valuable software offering and dependable service to which they are accustomed and an improved experience through our combined offerings. We firmly believe acquiring MSUITE is the best long-term decision for our customers and our team,” said Britton Langdon, Founder & Chief Executive Officer at MSUITE.
Stanley Black & Decker and MSUITE have worked together closely since 2020 with an early seed funding investment by its corporate venture arm STANLEY Ventures. The success of this strategic partnership, technology integration, cultural compatibility and shared vision made the acquisition possible.
“It is an honor to welcome the MSUITE team to Stanley Black & Decker. I’ve valued our partnership, having worked together on the development of DEWALT HangerWorks™ PRO, and look forward to bringing their staff further into the company fold,” said Brad Roberts, President, Total Trade Solutions at Stanley Black & Decker, Inc.
The MSUITE team will continue to be led by Britton Langdon as Vice President of Construction Technology for Stanley Black & Decker. Current customers can expect a seamless transition and the exceptional service they value. Britton recently spoke at our 2022 BuiltWorlds Buildings Conference on our New Tools for Planning, Developing, and Designing Better Buildings with BuiltWorlds members Chris Di Iorio, the CEO of ENGworks, John Niles, Technology Consultant at Gafcon Digital and Mani Golparvar, CTO of Reconstruct.
