Around The Network: Venture Forum & Venture + Pitch Event Provides an Open Window on the Hottest New Startups

We’re excited to be opening up our monthly Venture Forum Pitch Event to our Venture + members for the month of May. These events provide a deeper value proposition for the networks’ strategic investors and startups, alike. Our Venture Forum and Venture + members receive an in-depth look at some of the hottest new innovations in the construction field, while conversely, the startups demonstrating their potentially game-changing technologies are afforded a chance to make their pitches in front of an audience that is serious about strategically investing in solutions geared to ease specific pain points in their day-to-day operations, and – at live gatherings – they all get a chance to get to know each other better.

Drawing from leading industry players including Thornton Tomasetti, Shibumi International and Barton Malow, our Venture Forum members make up some of the sharpest minds in the Built World investment sector. Whether it’s Helena Mendez of EllisDon speaking about promoting innovation north of the border or Donald Flight of The Hill Group weighing in on the role of modular buildings during the age of COVID, or Weston Tanner of Graycor discussing his experiences and best practices working through a pilot program, BuiltWorlds Venture Forum Members epitomize modern thought leadership.

Our monthly Venture-themed Analyst Calls add to our member’s learning opportunities with upcoming topics including May’s program on Sustainability and Green Initiatives, June’s look at SPACs in the Built Space and some unique and valuable insight from VCs on The Future of ConTech in July.

These calls will continue each month running up to our November Venture Conference at the W Hotel in Miami Beach, where leading fund investors, strategic investors, and startups will gather to take the pulse of the industry’s startup ecosystem.
