1. WeatherBuild available in metric units

WeatherBuild, an application that gives construction teams actionable data regarding the weather, now provides measurements in both metric and imperial units.

2. Mortenson completes major hospital project

Mortenson, a leading general contractor, just completed a 4-year renovation of the Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital in Barrington, IL. Mortenson added 230,000 square feet to the hospital and renovated 150,000 square feet, creating four new inpatient units.

3. Architect Magazine names SOM the best architecture firm of 2017

SOM, a world renowned architecture firm, won first place in Architecture Magazine’s list of the top 50 architecture firms. SOM also received first place in 2010 and is the only firm to have been honored with the top position twice.

4. CannonDesign adopts virtual reality (VR) technology

CannonDesign, an integrated global design firm, created a VR model of the University of Southern Indiana’s planned $66 million activities center. Student athletes and donors were thrilled to experience the space before it is built.
