1. DEB Construction named top workplace of 2017

The Orange County Register selected DEB Construction as one of the top 125 workplaces in Orange County, California. DEB was ranked fourth in the small business category out of a pool of over 1,100 companies.

2. WeatherBuild joins the Microsoft Partner Network

WeatherBuild, an application that gives construction teams actionable data regarding the weather, now integrates with Microsoft Project.

3. ENGworks provides BIM support for Resorts World hotel-casino

ENGworks, an international BIM service and solutions provider, will model and pre-coordinate all architecture and engineering disciplines for the Resorts World hotel-casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. ENGworks will also map out a coordination-and-clash detection plan for the project’s contractors. With ENGworks’ assistance, the 2.44 billion dollar project will be completed in 2020.

4. StructionSite releases tagging feature

StructionSite, a digital jobsite documentation platform, now allows users to tag photos of a jobsite so they can be quickly sorted into categories.

5. IrisVR’s Prospect allows users to export list of flagged elements for review

IrisVR’s Prospect is a software that converts 3D models of construction projects into virtual reality spaces that users can walk through. Prospect users can now export a list of flagged jobsite elements as a CSV file and, thereby, create a report of elements to review with the construction team. The report can be used in Revit, Dynamo, or Navisworks.
