Investing in hardware is often seen as much more complicated and expensive than investing in software. In this session, we will meet entrepreneurs developing solutions in the “hard world” of materials, equipment and robotics and investors active in those areas. We’ll hear their perspectives on how investing in “hard tech” can be different from investing in software. We’ll learn about the potential pitfalls and also the opportunities of this very active area of the ecosystem.
