Pulling insight from a general contractor, academia, and solution provider, this session provided a wide range of perspectives on the ins and outs of offsite construction. For a building process with considerable potential, we have yet to see widespread adoption in its current state. The group discussed opportunities and challenges of implementing more offsite construction, paying special attention to the fabrication process and how we might further optimize the production of building components and systems.
