One of the busiest airports in the country, New York’s LaGuardia International Airport sees more than 16 million travelers each year. Today, LaGuardia’s main terminal (Terminal B) is undergoing a $5.1B facelift, thanks to a public-private partnership (P3) that includes the New York and New Jersey Port Authority, Skanska, Meridiam, HOK, and Walsh Construction.
In this episode of Project Innovation, Skanska Senior Vice President, John White, reveals some of the details for the P3 project and the modernization plan. When completed, the terminal is expected to accommodate up to 50 million travelers per year.
