Ahead of the 2024 Buildings Conference next month, we caught up with panelists from our New and Advanced Materials session.

The panel's discussion will center on the planning, design and construction of leading-edge net zero carbon projects that are being delivered by developers and corporations to meet the Federal mandates and corporate goals for carbon reduction. They'll also cover the use of mass timber and low carbon concrete as alternative material choices to reduce embodied carbon (EC), and highlight some of their own projects to illustrate how they're being planned, designed and built, including the use of technology to reduce and track EC.
