Use of a combination of reality capture tools:
- Drones were used to survey the site to create a digital model of the terrain and determine that it would not be necessary to transport additional fill to the site.
- A point cloud model was created of the equipment to be installed, placed in the plant, and used to ensure coordination.
- VR Glasses were used to see how the equipment would be placed and to develop the sequencing and delivery plan for installation.
- They also used the model to plan for prefabrication of pieces of the project.
