Eveart Foster, Director of Technology Adoption at BuiltWorlds delivered a presentation at the 2022 Americas Summit on the BuiltWorlds Benchmarking program findings and insights gathered throughout the year of survey collections. Foster begins the presentation by outlining some of the higher level goals of the program and then dives into what specific tech specialty areas are being covered by the five surveys conducted annually. These surveys are targeted towards engineers and contractors who would be considered end users in the project lifecycle and ask specific questions about what tech solutions they’re currently using and how they feel about them. The data collected from these surveys are then tabulated and released quarterly in our Benchmarking Research Reports.
An added benefit of participating in this survey collection – aside from helping us gather better data to help inform you of current tech solutions that are being utilized – is that each BuiltWorlds member who takes the survey will receive a customized report card that will take their results and stack them against similar sized peers in the industry. This will give you a glimpse into exactly how your tech stack is similar, or different, from your competitors.
