On the November 9th Analyst Call titled “AI Innovations in Infrastructure,” Eveart Foster of BuiltWorlds was joined by Stevan Lukic, CEO of Civils.ai, and Tristan Wilson, Founder and CEO of Edgevanta. The call focused primarily on disrupting the heavy civil and infrastructure arenas by effectively leveraging massive data sets and Artificial Intelligence. Stevan and Tristan gave brief presentations on Civils.ai and Edgevanta, respectively, before Eveart posed a series of questions regarding data accessibility, a digital transformation, and potential areas of assistance that would facilitate this digitization.
Civils.ai was the outcome of a desire to make construction projects easier to design. Stevan finds non-digital data to be the origin of many inefficiencies in the industry. In an effort to combat this, Civils.ai is using its AI engineering assistant, George, to help users understand the geology of cities around the world. Specifically, users input their data to build a model or digital twin to map what’s above and below the ground.
