Edward Bouygues, Deputy CEO, Telecoms Development, CSR and Innovation Chairman, Bouygues Telecom, delivered opening remarks and set the stage for the 2024 Demo Day Competition at the 2024 BuiltWorlds Paris Summit in June.
Bouygues said that part of the reason the technological revolution within the construction industry has not come to fruition is that each project is completely unique from one another and each one of those projects has its own unique set of challenges.
Bouygues also posited that AI will be impactful in allowing the customization of tools that would be automatically fitted to individual project needs without a ton of human capital to customize the solution to fit on another project.
