BuiltWorlds member Inertia recently submitted a case study detailing their work on The New Stanford Hospital. The project utilized Inertia as its observation and inspection tool, facilitating over 65,000 inspection requests over the project lifecycle. The project teams including the GC’s, Owners and Subs could instantly see what was completed and what was pending by room and trade through Inertia’s Intelligent Drawings. This lean construction methodology was proven out on this project with this unique and collaborative approach across the project teams.
Have a case study you’d like to share? The BuiltWorlds Project Case Studies Directory offers another way for members to share what they have learned and for members to learn about where change is actually happening from other members and explore those changes together. Our Directory is broken down into three major categories:
Cities/Infrastructure – case studies of the most innovative infrastructure projects and urban planning solutions.
Buildings – examples of high performance buildings in areas such as sustainability, intelligence, and responsiveness.
Project Delivery – case studies where emerging technologies were leveraged in the process of designing and building a structure.
If you have a relevant project your organization recently completed that you would like to share with the network, we encourage you to submit your case studies here!
